Gridlock Growth Capital
The campaign desk
Growth,on the record.
The marketing desk behind our own roster, open to outside artists and labels. Paid social on software we built, plus playlist, repost, video and creator campaigns — planned, run and reported by one team.
01The software
A brain on every ad.
A person on every dollar.
We built our own ad software because the alternatives were boosted posts or black boxes. It sits over Meta's ad system, reads every ad every day and recommends the next move. A person approves every one.
- Impression
- Click
- Smart linkOur pixel fires here
- TapSpotify · Apple Music · pre-save
- StreamAs far as the data reaches
- Built paused
Every campaign and every ad is created paused. It goes live when a person approves it, spends what the approved plan says, and never raises its own budget. Each plan is checked against Meta's own rules before a dollar moves.
- Aimed at listeners
Our pixel sits on the smart link and fires on the taps that matter — through to Spotify or Apple Music, or a pre-save — so the ads are optimized toward people who tap through to listen, not the cheapest click.
- Real audiences
People who engaged or tapped, brought back. Lookalikes built from actual fans. Visitors to your own pages.
- Read every day
Results by ad, placement, country, age and gender, pulled daily. The software recommends what to pause and what to scale — and says nothing when the data is too thin to call. A person signs off every change.
- Your best posts, promoted
It ranks the posts people already share and turns the winners into ads, tests several creatives at once, and rolls a winner's structure into the next campaign.
Runs on Meta's ad system — Instagram and Facebook — through your own Page and profile. Two campaign shapes today: follower growth, and release campaigns optimized on the smart link.
02The channels
Placements that
show their work.
A curator's playlist, a repost channel, a video audience, a creator's page — our network reaches all four. Curators, reposters and creators who work with Gridlock, pitched and briefed by our team. We plan the campaign, place it, track it as it lands and report it. You deal with one team.
- Spotify
Spotify playlist campaigns
Pitching · Independent curators · 90 days
Your track pitched to our network of independent curators in your lane, worldwide or weighted to North America and Europe. Placements land within days, run for 90 days, and the playlists are reported weekly. Curators choose what they add. We don't buy streams, and we don't guarantee them.
- SoundCloud
SoundCloud repost campaigns
Dance music · Real accounts · Receipts
Reposts from real artist and label accounts inside our genre repost network — house, techno, drum & bass, dubstep, bass. Dance music only, which is the music we release. Flights run from a few days to a few weeks by size, and the report shows who reposted and when.
- YouTube
YouTube video campaigns
In-stream · In-feed · Shorts
Ads for your music video across in-stream, in-feed, Shorts and display, bought by territory and tuned for views that turn into engagement rather than the cheapest number on the counter. Sized to the release and the markets that matter to it.
- Creators
Creator & clip campaigns
Fan pages · Clips & UGC · Seeding
Your music on the pages your listeners already follow. Seeding on niche fan and edit pages, clipping and UGC from creators, or a run of influencer posts built around a release. Scoped per release.
03The run
Five steps.
No surprises.
Campaign docketBrief to report
- 01
Brief
ReceivedSend the release, the date, the genre and the budget you have in mind. We come back with questions, then a plan: which channels, when, how much, and what it should do.
- 02
Approve
Your yesYou approve the plan and the invoice. Nothing is built or ordered before that, and nothing is added to it later without the same yes.
- 03
Build
PausedPaid social: we connect your Instagram and Facebook, build a smart link for the release with our pixel on it, rank your best posts and build the ads — paused. Playlist, repost, video and creator campaigns: we brief the network, set the flight and lock the dates.
- 04
Run
LiveAds are read every day by ad, placement, country and age. We pause the weak and scale the strong, and a person signs off every move before it's made. Placements are tracked as they land.

Report
WeeklyA weekly note in plain English, with receipts where a platform gives them, and one link you can share with your team.
PausedApprovedLiveReported
Nothing runs
without a yes.
Every campaign starts paused and goes live on your approval. It spends what the plan says, and not a dollar more without another yes. On our software every pause and every scale is a recommendation until a person confirms it. Every other campaign runs the same way — after your yes, to the plan, never topped up without one.
04The report
Receipts, weekly.
- Every week
What ran, what it cost, what it did — impressions to clicks to streams, as far as the platforms let us see.
- Ads
An attribution funnel from impression to click to smart link to streaming-service tap, and on to streams where the data reaches — by ad, placement, country, age and gender.
- Playlists & reposts
Placements are tracked as they land. The playlists are reported weekly; the repost report shows who reposted and when.
- One link
A link you can hand to your team.
05Who it's for
Built for three
kinds of client.
Independent artists
Your team stays yours
A release with a date and a budget behind it. You keep your manager, your distributor and your plans; we run the campaign and report to whoever you say.
Labels & managers
One accountable desk
Roster campaigns run the same way every time, reported the same way every time, on one invoice — instead of five vendor logins and a spreadsheet.

We sell what we use
Our own releases run on the same software and the same network you'd be using, reported the same way. If a channel stopped working for us, it would come off this page.
06Questions
Asked,
answered.
- Q — 01
Do you guarantee streams, followers or views?
No, and we'd be wary of anyone who does on a platform they don't own. We size a campaign to a goal, run it properly and report what happened. Playlist campaigns reach real listeners through real curators, who decide what they add; reposts come from real accounts; ads run on Meta's own system and are optimized toward people who tap through to listen.
- Q — 02
Is this safe for my Spotify and Meta accounts?
We don't buy streams, followers or comments. Playlist campaigns are pitched to independent curators who choose what they add; reposts come from real accounts in genre networks; ads run on Meta's own system through your own Page and profile, checked against Meta's rules before they spend, and every one of them on your approval.
- Q — 03
What does it cost?
We don't publish prices, because a campaign is sized to a release, not picked from a menu. Tell us the budget you have in mind and we'll tell you honestly what it buys — and if it would be better spent on something else.
- Q — 04
How fast can we start?
Paid social: a few days from connecting your accounts, with the first ads built paused for your approval. Playlist campaigns: placements typically start within a week of your go-ahead and run for 90 days. Repost flights run from a few days to a few weeks, by size.
- Q — 05
Do you work with artists you don't manage?
Yes — most Growth Capital clients keep their own team. Management is a separate conversation; this page is the campaign desk. If you want the whole roof, start with everything else we do.
- Q — 06
Who am I dealing with?
Gridlock, and only Gridlock. One team plans, pitches, runs and reports every campaign, and answers for it.
